County Final coming up! |

I've got the North Beds league vs South Beds league County final coming up next Monday. Should open or bat at 3. Hope to make a nice score as I won't be told to go for it as our tail is weak. |

Opened the batting for my school team this week and i got 21 and had 2 retire. Started off slowly but then hit 4 4's in 2 overs. Ended up being exactly a run a ball. Bowling was alright just 1 over 1 wide and 1 leg bye. |

Another net session. Bowled pretty rubbish 2 b honest and offered myself 2 the 'help lane' lol. I batted ma best tho lol got hit where it hurts once. lol i hit a guy who woz runnin into bowl wiv a on drive tht wud of gon 2 da boundary. 5 weeks till we go outside agen :)

A good session for me. Bowling fast and accurate with a little bit of swing both ways- 2edges defo caught and 1 5050 chance of being caught. I batted with a Pioneer Flame that I got free from Owzat coz the old 1 snapped and although its kashmire willow it seemed 2 have jst as good performance. Embarrasinlygot bowled by the same bowlr twice on the same stump but apart from that blocked really well and slogged (hehe) really well! |

My clubs nets started yesterday. Average performance by me- with the ball fairly good- first few down leg the rest pacey down the corridor at a good length. With the bat (first time using my premier torch) I hit about 80% of deliveries, defended well but struggled to get the ball to fly off the middle. Every time I played a drive the ball hit my foot after the bat which was annoying. Given out once thin edge to the 'magic wickee.' |

25/1/07- Cricket at School |

Had a little freindly against the year 8's indoor after school. Bowled one over- 1 wicket for 1 run and run a guy out. Batting 5 out of 8 I made a beautiful 3! I hit a well timed shot that would have got six over the bowler in an outdoor match but I was out because it hit the damn roof lol! Sorry to say but year 7's got trounced!
Yay Bedford CC nets start next Friday! |
